Meanwhile, some of Arsenal’s players not involved in the Euros will be getting some rest for international fixtures in this period. USA have friendlies against Ireland and Canada at the end of the month and the beginning of July, but USWNT boss Emma Hayes has rested Emily Fox and Jenna Nighswonger is not selected. Ireland are also resting Katie McCabe for the Ireland v USA games.

Meanwhile, Steph Catley and Caitlin Foord have been rested for Australia’s games against Slovenia and Panama in the same window but Kyra Cooney-Cross is called up for Joe Montemurro’s first games in charge of the Matildas. Kyra will only take part in the double header against Slovenia on 26 and 29 June but not the double header against Panama on 5 and 8 July.

Austria have no fixtures so Manu Zinsberger will not be in international action, Kim Little retired from international duty in 2021. Meanwhile, Maddy Earl, Jessie Gale, Laila Harbert, Viv Lia, Katie Reid and Cecily Wellesley-Smith are competing for England in the U19 Euros. England beat Netherlands in their opening game but inexplicably lost 4-1 to Portugal in their second game despite leading 1-0 with 15 minutes to go. They have to beat Spain in their final group game to progress to the knockouts.
