Max Dowman set yet another record as he made his third senior appearance for Arsenal in the 2-0 victory away to Port Vale tonight.
Dowman replaced Bukayo Saka in the 62nd minute and became the youngest ever player to feature for Arsenal in the League Cup aged 15 years and 267 days.
During his time on the pitch Dowman had some encouraging moments which included a neat flick and an excellent pass into the path of Viktor Gyokeres.
Eberechi Eze scored his first goal for Arsenal, with substitute Leandro Trossard making it 2-0 late on.
Jack Porter warmed up with the team as the third-choice goalkeeper.
Porter was the previous youngest player to feature for Arsenal in this competition when he did so aged 16 against Bolton last season.
