Arsenal won a tense match against Brentford thanks to Kai Havertz's last-minute header, which also propelled Arsenal to the top of the table.
The German attacker, who had little opportunities during the match, came off the bench in the second half and headed in Bukayo Saka's long cross a few minutes before the finish.
Arsenal had already had a VAR review rule out a goal by Leandro Trossard for offside, and Declan Rice and Alex Zinchenko cleared two attempts off the line. The three points were enthusiastically welcomed by the away fans at halftime, despite the fact that it may not have been visually appealing.
