15-year-old Max Dowman has been included in Arsenal’s first-team squad photo for this season along with goalkeeper Tommy Setford.
Despite technically being an U16 player Dowman has already made two competitive appearances for the first-team and has trained exclusively with the senior squad since pre-season training got underway.
It is believed that this is the first time that an U16 player has been included in Arsenal’s first-team photo.
Dowman became Arsenal’s second youngest player of all time when he featured against Leeds United last month.
Fellow Hale End products Bukayo Saka, Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly were also present along with Eberechi Eze. Gabriel Martinelli and Setford were also signed as academy players.
Injured forward Gabriel Jesus was also included in the photo.
