Former Arsenal academy striker Tyreece John-Jules trained with the club’s U21 squad today, as shown in footage from Hayters TV.
The 24-year-old is currently a free agent following his departure from Crawley Town at the end of last season. He was involved for a PFA Free Agent XI this summer.
John-Jules frequently impressed as he progressed through the ranks at the Hale End academy and signed scholarship terms in 2017.
He signed a professional contract in 2018 and had loan spells with Lincoln City, Doncaster Rovers, Blackpool, Sheffield Wednesday, Ipswich Town and Derby County before departing in 2024, with injuries heavily affecting him.
A former England youth international, he was named on the bench for the Arsenal first-team on six occasions including for the Community Shield success in 2020 but didn’t make a competitive senior appearance for the club.
While at Arsenal John-Jules scored 18 goals in 42 appearances for the U21s and netted 17 times in 26 games for the U18s.
John-Jules is close friends with Noni Madueke, and was present when the winger signed for Arsenal this summer.
