Arsenal goalkeeper Lucas Nygaard was in action as Denmark were knocked out of the UEFA U19 European Championship with a 3-0 defeat to Romania.

Nygaard retained his place in the starting lineup but conceded on three occasions, with Remus Gutea, David Barbu and Ioan Vermesan all scoring.

Denmark finished in third place in the group.
