Arsenal have submitted their Premier League squad list for the first half of the season, with injured striker Gabriel Jesus included despite having been left out of the club’s Champions League squad.
There are eight homegrown players in the squad – Eberechi Eze, Noni Madueke, David Raya, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, Gabriel Martinelli and Ben White.
All of the current first-team players have been included with the exception of those who are out on loan.
46 players have been named on the U21 list, including first-team squad members Cristhian Mosquera, Ethan Nwaneri, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Tommy Setford.
Goalkeeper Remy Mitchell, who rejoined the club this summer, has also been included on the list.
The new first-year scholars have also been named in the squad for the first time – Brando Bailey-Joseph, Marley Frohock, Callan Hamill, Maalik Hashi, Josiah King, Teshaun Murisa, Abraham Owusu-Gyasi, Bowen Phillips, Marli Salmon, Saurap Sampang, Patrick Stachow, Joshua Tahou, Jack Talbot and Remi Lupinski.
Max Dowman isn’t listed but is still eligible to feature in the Premier League, as was the case for Nwaneri when he was a schoolboy and also Leicester’s Jeremy Monga last season.
