Max Dowman won a penalty on his first start for England U19s in a 3-3 draw against Spain in a friendly.
Dowman made his debut for the U19s against Ukraine this week, becoming the youngest ever player to feature for England at this level.
The 15-year-old made an impact against Spain despite frequently being fouled by the opposition. England’s second goal of the game was scored from the penalty spot after Dowman was brought down in the area.
England are in action again on Tuesday when they take on the Netherlands, for whom Arsenal midfielder Demiane Agustien could feature.
