Monaco II 0 Arsenal 2 (Kabia, Stevens)

Arsenal U21s secured their only win of pre-season with a 2-0 victory away to Monaco II, with trialist Archie Stevens getting on the scoresheet.

Having called upon numerous U18 players during pre-season, the squad on this occasion contained many more U21 regulars, with the likes of Marli Salmon, Josh Nichols, Ismeal Kabia, Louie Copley and Andre Harriman-Annous all starting.

Maldini Kacurri also made his return from injury as he was named amongst the substitutes, while first year Brando Bailey-Joseph started the game.

There was a start in goal for first-team squad member Tommy Setford.

Arsenal took the lead just before half time through an impressive strike from Ismeal Kabia.

Winger Stevens, who entered the fray as a substitute, made it 2-0 in the closing stages of the game.

Arsenal commence their Premier League 2 campaign with a home game against Fulham next week.
