Arseblog News can exclusively reveal that Arsenal Women are keen on signing Frankfurt’s Swiss midfielder Geraldine Reuteler before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
The WSL transfer window closes at 11pm on Thursday and with Lia Walti likely to join Juventus, the Gunners have identified her compatriot Geraldine Reuteler to join the squad ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The 26-year-old midfielder enjoyed an excellent Euros this summer with the host nation, scoring in a 2-0 win over Iceland during the group stages. Our understanding is that Arsenal are in talks over a deal and hope to complete the transfer before Thursday’s deadline. We don’t yet have any details over a potential fee if the deal comes to fruition.
Versatility in midfield is an important quality for coach Renee Slegers and Reuteler is a player with experience of playing in different positions in the midfield.
