Forward Andre Harriman-Annous has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal, as reported by the club’s official website.

The talented 17-year-old recently made his first senior appearance against Newcastle during the tour of Asia and was also named on the bench against Villarreal in the Emirates Cup.

It is anticipated that Harriman-Annous, who is now an England U18 international, could make his competitive first-team debut for Arsenal this season.

Previously deployed in a variety of positions, Harriman-Annous was mainly used as a striker last season.

He made a major impact at various levels, scoring in Premier League 2, the EFL Trophy, the UEFA Youth League, the U18 Premier League and the U18 Premier League Cup.

A skilful player with clever movement, Harriman-Annous progressed all the way through the ranks at Hale End before signing scholarship terms in 2024.

From that intake, Theo Julienne, Ceadach O’Neill, Khari Ranson and Louis Zecevic John have also progressed to professional terms.

Sam Chapman, Ife Ibrahim, Alex Marciniak, Samuel Onyekachukwu and Jack Porter are the remaining second year scholars.
