Striker Daniel Oyetunde has signed his first professional contract with Arsenal, as reported by the club’s official website.

Oyetunde, 18, signed for Arsenal in 2021 and made his debut for the U21s as a schoolboy against Burnley in the Premier League Cup.

After signing scholarship terms in 2023, Oyetunde has now progressed to a professional deal and will be a full-time member of the U21 squad.

Oyetunde scored four goals in 28 appearances for the U18s and has also featured for the U19s in the UEFA Youth League.

Last season he scored the decisive penalty as the U18s beat QPR in a penalty shootout in the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup.

The likes of Will Sweet, Louie Copley and Cam’ron Ismail have also progressed to professional terms recently.
