Brando Bailey-Joseph established himself as one of the key figures in the Arsenal U18 team as a schoolboy and now, having started his scholarship, the winger is continuing to make progress.
The 16-year-old has enjoyed an excellent start to the season for the U18s, which included a goal and an assist in the victory against Peterborough United in the Premier League Cup yesterday.
Bailey-Joseph plays with such confidence and possesses excellent close control, while he has also demonstrated that he is capable of playing neat through balls.
The England youth international has already made his debut for Arsenal U19s and it seems likely that he could have a prominent part to play in the UEFA Youth League this season.
Bailey-Joseph also gained experience playing with the U21s in pre-season, with the feeling being that it won’t be too long until he steps up to feature at that level in competitive action.
A player who is always looking to make an impact, Bailey-Joseph has shown that he can impress on either flank and it will be intriguing to see how much he can develop this season.
