Michelle Agyemang joins Brighton & Hove Albion on season loan

Arsenal striker Michelle Agyemang will re-join Brighton & Hove Albion on loan for the 2025-26 season. Agyemang, who enjoyed a breakout summer scoring two huge goals for England on their run to European Championship success, spent last season on loan at Dario Vidosic’s side.

Rosa Kafaji has already joined the Seagulls on loan for next season as well. With Alessia Russo and Stina Blackstenius in the squad, chances might be limited for Agyemang this season and the route to more regular minutes and starts is with Brighton. Blackstenius’ current contract expires next summer.

Agyemang scored five goals on loan at Brighton last season and she has scored in one of her six Arsenal appearances to date. Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley said, ‘We’re so proud of Michelle’s achievements this summer and throughout her journey at Arsenal, from her first steps in our academy through to our first-team squad.

‘After discussing closely with Michelle and her family, we have all agreed that this move will provide Michelle with a further opportunity to develop and grow, as she continues to progress as a young player and person. We wish Michelle every success at Brighton and look forward to welcoming her back to Arsenal at the end of her loan.’
