Arsenal’s young winger Vivienne Lia has joined Nottingham Forest on loan for the 2025-26 season.
This follows Jessica Gale joining Portsmouth and Naomi Williams joining Bristol City on loan deals with Cecily Wellesley-Smith set to join Leicester on loan.
18-year-old Lia has made two senior appearances for Arsenal and spent the second half of last season on loan at Southampton.
The WSL transfer window closes at 11pm on Thursday. We exclusively reported on Monday that Arsenal were interested in bringing Swiss midfielder Geraldine Reuteler in from Frankfurt.
With the Frauen Bundesliga window already closed Frankfurt do not want to sell so, as it stands, that deal won’t happen. Frankfurt named Reuteler their vice captain for this season today.
