Arsenal Women goalkeeper Naomi Williams will join Bristol City on loan for the 2025-26 season. The 20-year-old academy product will partake in her first senior loan move with international goalkeepers Daphne van Domselaar, Anekke Borbe and Manu Zinsberger available for this season.

Williams was initially going to go out on loan for the 2024-25 season but she was needed as a third goalkeeper. Williams has yet to make her senior debut for the club but has been a regular in matchday squads for the last two seasons.

She played the final 30 minutes of Arsenal’s post-season 1-0 friendly win over A League All-Stars in Melbourne in May 2024. Williams is one of several academy players expected to go out on loan before Thursday’s WSL transfer deadline, with the likes of Vivienne Lia, Maddy Earl and Jessica Gale likely to go on loan too.
