Goalkeeper Remy Mitchell appears to have re-signed for the club after taking part in the academy photocall yesterday.
The 21-year-old was pictured in training with Arsenal’s U18 squad last week and has been allocated the squad number 47.
A product of Arsenal’s Hale End academy, Mitchell left the club in 2022 and subsequently had spells at Swansea City, Haringey and Aylesbury.
Given that he was born in 2004, Mitchell would still be classed as an under-21 player this season in terms of age.
While at Arsenal he played 25 times at U18 level, making his debut against Aston Villa when he was just 14. Mitchell was also called up to the U21 squad as a schoolboy.
Lucas Nygaard is back in training after his involvement with Denmark at the U19 European Championship but has expressed his desire to go on loan this season.
Tommy Setford remains at the club but could be third-choice for the first-team or perhaps go on loan, while Khari Ranson and Jack Porter are other options for the U21s but may still be needed for the U18s at times.
