Arsenal have confirmed the departure of legendary midfielder Lia Walti who is set to move to Juventus, as first revealed by Arseblog News last week.
The Swiss midfielder joined the club from Turbine Potsdam in the summer of 2018 and became one of the best midfielders to play for the club, winning a WSL title, two Conti Cups and the Champions League, making 183 appearances across seven seasons.
Walti will join Juventus in Serie A with the best wishes of all Arsenal fans. At Arseblog News, as well as being grateful for Walti the player, we are really grateful to Lia as a person for the time and courtesy she always showed to us. It is very fitting she leaves as a Champions League winner. Good luck in Italy, Wally.
