Taylor Hinds announces Liverpool departure

Liverpool full-back Taylor Hinds has confirmed that she will leave the club at the expiry of her contract (today being the final day of her deal). Arseblog News exclusively revealed on June 9 that Arsenal held an interest in the player and we fully expect her to re-join the club that she left in 2018.

In a statement on her social media accounts, Hinds, who came through the Arsenal academy, wrote, ‘I wish nothing but continued success for this team and this club. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of this club and to have worn the shirt – it’s truly been a privilege. Thank you for everything.’

Hinds is primarily a left-back who can play at right-back and in midfield too and her versatility and WSL experience are seen as key factors in her signing. Arsenal’s interest dates back from well before May’s Champions League Final. Arsenal will also be looking to wrap up a deal for Chloe Kelly too, with the player flying to Switzerland today for the Euros and with her Manchester City contract expiring at midnight.
